HOOD CANAL WA The year kicked off with a Modern Medallion Mojo retreat at Saint Andrew’s House on the Hood Canal, just south of Seattle. Twelve enthusiastic quilters gathered to share creative quilting and camaraderie.
The group dove wholeheartedly into their projects, filling the spacious workroom with vibrant circular and starburst medallions.
We were well cared for, enjoying healthy, homemade meals three times a day.
Although the cozy retreat made it easy to stay indoors, one afternoon I ventured up to the Wind Phone to make a call to my lost nephew.
As always, a trip to Saint Andrew’s House both inspires and uplifts. What a wonderful way to start 2025!
