SAINT ANDREW’S | UNION WA A whole new cast of characters arrived for the second session of The Patricia Retreat 2022 in early December.
The story was similar: quilt designs with curves, lots of laughter, bonding, and incredible food three times a day.
The snow began retreating and the Olympic Mountains reappeared.
The warmth inside radiated as participants transformed fabrics into stunning compositions.
And by the end of this second retreat, there was still a little yukata cotton and kokeshi left in the pop-up shop!
POSTSCRIPT After being inspired by a haiku for the second project of the Retreat, Judy P. from Maryland wrote this on her plane ride home:
Mentor guides gently
Through unknown territory
Voices rise within.
