UNION WA Almost back-to-back, I led another Patricia Retreat focusing on the Circle of Life at Saint Andrew's House on the Hood Canal.
Participants used both sides of their brains—to creatively craft their own stories into motifs and to technically insert circles into their background grids.
It was an exciting journey into the unknown—from getting lost and then finding their way.
A special guest at the Retreat was David Owen Hastings, a national quilt teacher. David worked independently on his own projects and graciously joined all the retreat activities. (To learn more about David, his talks, and classes +click here)
The whole week offered a wonderful respite from the busyness of the season — with a calming view and delicious food three times a day! Hopefully we can all get back together again in January 2025! (More to come once details are sorted out.)
