SEATTLE WA  Dana Cassara, the founder of Danaca Design, always wanted to be a teacher. Not only has she become one of the top jewelry teachers in the country, she’s built a whole community of inventive jewelers through Danaca Design’s training workshops.

Cherry Blossom necklace, Yukata Jewelry Show at Danaca Design in Seattle

Danaca Design challenged a cadre of artists to create jewelry inspired by Japanese yukata cottons. Each artist was given one yard of the luscious cotton from Okan Arts. The final creations include special metals, precious stones, beads, found objects, and more.
