Our individual existence, from beginning to end, resembles a complete circle—the universal symbol for life. Join Patricia Belyea for an exciting quilting retreat that focuses on circles—big, small, pieced, wonky, translucent, and more.
Patricia teaches you piecing, inserting, and appliqué techniques for circles; discusses quilt composition; and then assign challenges for you to design your own quilting projects.
The Venue
Sea Pines Golf Resort is the perfect backdrop for a week of creativity. Nestled among 27 acres of majestic trees with sweeping views of Morro Bay, the resort is welcoming, casual, and rejuvenating.
What's Included
The Retreat includes four and a half days of classes, a Welcome Dinner on Sunday evening, lunch and artisan chocolates each full day (MON - THU), a Farewell Dinner on Thursday evening, and ten yards of vintage Japanese yukata cotton (a $180 value).

NOTE: This purchase is for the $425 non-refundable deposit.
The Final Payment of $1,000 is due by October 1, 2023.
The deposit is stated as non-refundable. If you cancel and Okan Arts can fill your space, your deposit of $425 will be refunded less $50.
Retreat Contract
Within one day of paying the Deposit, you will receive a Retreat Contract by email. The Retreat Contract needs to be filled out, signed, and returned within one week to complete your registration.

3pm Arrive at Resort, drop gear in Workroom, and check into room
3pm to 5pm Mingle, shop in the Japanese Textile Pop-up Shop, get organized
5pm Sashiko 2 demo with Victoria Stone
5:30pm Welcome Dinner

9am to 4pm Workshop
Friday Morning
9am to 11:30am Workshop
You have access to the Workroom each day from 8am to 10pm.
There's a 6' work table and design wall for each participant, and pro ironing stations in each workroom.
Okan Arts has secured a group rate for the SUN through THU nights of the Retreat. All rooms are double occupancy so you are welcome to bring a companion.
