A Creative Journey Exploring Circles
Our individual existence, from beginning to end, resembles a complete circle—the universal symbol for life. Join Patricia Belyea for an exciting quilting retreat that focuses on circles—big, small, pieced, wonky, translucent, and more.
Patricia will teach piecing, inserting, and appliqué techniques for circles; discuss quilt composition; and then assign challenges for you to design your own quilting projects.
The venue, Saint Andrew’s House, is a historic lodge with a 24-hour quilting workroom, dining area, huge Great Room, and bedrooms all under one roof.
Your Retreat includes a private room for five nights at Saint Andrew’s House and four full days of classes—with breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Special meals include a Welcome Dinner on Sunday night and a Farewell Breakfast on Friday morning.
(Please note that your room will be on the second floor and there is no elevator at Saint Andrew’s.)
Evening programs include Show ’N Tell (Monday night), a presentation about Japanese textiles by Patricia Belyea (Tuesday night), and a workshop Show ’N Tell (Thursday night).

SEWING MACHINE RENTALS: SEWING MACHINE RENTALS: All of the sewing machines available for this Retreat have been rented.
FINAL PAYMENT: The Final Payment is due by September 1, 2023. You will receive an invoice on August 22.
RETREAT CONTRACT: Within one day of paying the Deposit, you will receive a Retreat Contract by email. The Retreat Contract needs to be filled out, signed, and returned within one week to complete your registration.
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: If you cancel, Okan Arts will attempt to sell your space. If your space is sold to another participant, you will receive your deposit back less $50.
