WINTER 2018—REGISTRATION
The Joe Retreat

Sunday, February 4 - Friday, February 9, 2018

Retreat includes five nights at Saint Andrew’s House on Hood Canal, WA;
four quilting retreat days led by Joe Cunningham; and daily
breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon chocolate treat, including 
a Welcome Dinner and Farewell Breakfast.

Evening programs include Show ’N Tell (Monday night);
a presentation by Patricia Belyea (Tuesday night);
and Retreat Show ’N Tell (Thursday night).

Travel to and from Saint Andrew’s House and personal expenses are not included.

Retreat Cost: $1,445 per participant, double occupancy.

Financial Terms

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure a Retreat space.

You will receive a PayPal invoice for the final amount on December 1, 2017, payable in ten days.

The final payment of $1,195 is due on or before December 10, 2017. 

All cancellations received are refunded per the terms and schedule below.
-Cancel Retreat booking on or before December 10, 2017 |  $250 deposit forfeited
-Cancel Retreat booking after December 10, 2017 but on or
  before January 4, 2018  |  50% of Retreat cost forfeited.
-Cancel Retreat booking after January 4, 2018  | 100% of Retreat cost forfeited.

Please note: Deposits and full payments for Retreat spaces are transferable to another person.

Cancellation insurance is additional.

Travel Insurance

Baggage, accident, medical and trip cancellation/interruption insurance
is recommended. Okan Arts cannot be responsible for extra expenses
due to delays and changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond its control.

Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risk

Responsibility: Okan Arts, its retreat center and/or suppliers of services cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in travel schedules or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be the responsibility of the Retreat participant.   

The right is reserved to make minor adjustments to the Retreat plan and the right is reserved to cancel the Retreat. The submission of this Participant Contract shall be deemed consent of the above conditions.

Disclosure: I am aware that during my participation of the Retreat, certain risks or dangers may arise, including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling to the Retreat location, forces of nature, an accident, or the onset of illness. Also I am aware and clearly understand that Okan Arts will not have liability regarding provision of medical care, the speed of evacuation, or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered.

I understand that Okan Arts will use its best efforts to ensure that all adequate measures will be taken to avoid such occurrences. By submitting the Participant Contract, I am VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED AND HEREBY AGREE TO ACCEPT ANY RISKS. As lawful consideration for the agreement with Okan Arts to participate in this Retreat, I hereby agree that I will not make any claim against Okan Arts and its owners for all claims, actions and demands that I have for bodily injury, death, or property damage arising from my participation in this Retreat. Electronic submission of the Participant Contract will serve as my Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement. This agreement is binding on my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns. If any portion is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force.

I have read the terms which are applicable to the Winter 2018 session of The Joe Retreat concerning payment, liability, and cancellation, and I agree to the terms and conditions. I agree that any segment of the Retreat which I miss, including meals, evening programs, and overnight accommodations is not refundable unless covered and reimbursed by appropriate travel insurance purchased separately. I understand that the submission of this contract advises Okan Arts of my agreement to the terms set herein.

A Few Final Words

Okan Arts hosts retreats with congenial, mature adults. If for any reason, the Retreat leaders feel that any participant(s) is causing a disruption or behaving in an untoward manner, Okan Arts reserves the right to remove any such person(s), at her/his expense, with no redress to Okan Arts.

Space is subject to availability and places are filled on a first-come basis upon receipt of the submitted Participant Contract with the $250 deposit. Retreat program, Retreat leaders and Retreat center arrangements may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Unless specified, roommates are chosen by Okan Arts.
