This month’s giveaway features Sarah J Maxwell’s Bring On the Bubbly Collection produced by Studio 37 of Marcus Fabrics. Each giveaway includes a fat quarter bundle of 18 patterns. There are four December giveaways—valued at $54 per bundle.
Sarah J is the designer and maker of countless quilts who, like many others, began her obsession while she was expecting her first child. Now an empty nester, Sarah is focusing her creative energy on fabric design. Bring On the Bubbly is her fourth collection!
To celebrate auspicious occasions, Sarah J has included bubbles, champagne glasses, fireworks, congratulatory messages, ribbons, swags, and more in her convivial fabric collection.

Beautiful fabrics! Right now, the only thing I have to celebrate is a co-worker who is expecting her first baby in May. No weddings or big anniversaries this year. We just finished the run of 25 year anniversaries in my family (5 in 4 years!) so we have one more year before we start on the 30 year anniversaries.

In 2018 it will be my pure pleasure to see my oldest granddaughter graduate from high school She has already been accepted by a University and will go to that city in the summer to begin her part-time job. So proud of this young woman who will major in engineering and participate in mountain bike racing and play on the lacrosse team.

Family Holiday with all generations to enjoy and discover – my 97 year old Mom, her 3 daughters ages 71, 65, 62, her grands in their 40’s and 30’s, including newly weds, great grands in their teens, and one great, great grandson, age 3. WOW!
In October the Quilt Museum in La Conner, WA is having huge event in Everett. I am planning to have enough of my wares assembled that I can be there as a vendor, not just a visitor!
iN 2018 I am looking forward to July 24, my eldest child turns 40. He had retired in 2016 (from the USCG). This is his next big lifetime achievement and since we don’t live close anymore we have missed many birthdays but not this one!

I am looking forward to Quilt Tulsa 2018 to be held on June 1 and 2, 2018. As co-chair of the quilt show, I am excited to see what my fellow quilters have made for displaying. After working on the show for two years, it will be terrific to see all the parts come together. Hopefully it is as great as we have all imagined and planned for.
No special events really just look forward to seeing my daughter and grandsons.

What a great giveaway! My husband and I will be celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary this year on July 4. Though we live far away from friends and family, we always toast each other with champagne and watch the fireworks from the grandkids’ treehouse. Even though we miss the big celebrations that we used to have before we had to move for my husband’s work, we always look forward to our quiet July 4 celebrations too.
For me, the big event in 2018 is moving into a new apartment! Lots of work-yes, but I get to set everything up just the way I like it. A new place for new ideas!
