All these people helped raise me while my mother finished her degree in education & while my daddy was in the Pacific in WWII. An clone little girl, my grandparents & the others took on the added responsibility with their children, (my aunts & uncles) pitching in as needed. I learned & still know so much that is now a lost art; gardening, cooking, seamstress work, quilting & so much more. Too much to list but I am writing it all down as it is too priceless to lose. From the goodness of their hearts, these precious people made a little girl feel included, loved beyond a shadow of a doubt, & filled my life with wonder. Could anyone be more blessed & lucky?

I love having a real Christmas Tree every year that I have lived! We have a collection of tree ornaments that have sentimental value to both my husband, myself and our adult children. I love the scents of the season, from spruce to cinnamon, vanilla, and cookies baking, roasting turkey and pies. Snuggle up in a chair and stitch an ornament or read a Christmas Story!

I ended up getting both the coffee maker and a carousel and assortment of the little cups. I had to make myself quit!
